Øjvind Hulgaard established Hulgaard Advokater in 1995.

Øjvind works with general business consulting, with a particular focus on family-owned businesses. This includes both ongoing advice and sparring regarding daily operations and case management, for example, in connection with the acquisition and sale of businesses.

With his specialist knowledge in selected areas, Øjvind also has experience as an arbitrator and is a trained mediator.

Through Øjvind’s long-term customer relationships, he has in-depth knowledge of various industries. Among other things, Øjvind works to help startup companies become successful. “My hope is that with my skills, I can help startup companies become successful. It becomes especially interesting if the companies’ main purpose is the green transition. It is absolutely necessary that we dare to think in new ways if we are to quickly move from a black to a green economy.”

Øjvind is the chairman/board member of several companies/business-driven foundations. Øjvind has also been a board member of the branch organization Danske Advokater and was vice-chairman from its founding in 2008 until September 2012. Furthermore, Øjvind has been a member of Danske Advokater’s business development committee for several years and, in connection with his industry policy work, has particularly focused on creating the most optimal framework for Danish law firms, including within innovation and business development in a traditionally “dusty” industry.

Øjvind has taught at the Danish Bar and Law Society’s attorney training for several years and has served as an examiner for the bar exam.

Øjvind works both at the office in Kolding and in Aarhus. Office manager Marianne Work Bramsen assists Øjvind with his daily tasks, both internally and in relation to customers
